Agua de Sapo

Agua de Sapo

A Caribbean-coast cooler of fresh ginger and tapa dulce with lime and lots of ice — bracing, lightly spicy, and thirst-quenching. Despite the name ('toad water'), there are no toads involved.

Notes

A Limón refresher built on the holy trinity of ginger, tapa dulce, and lime. Adjust the ginger for more or less heat. Best icy cold on a hot Caribbean afternoon. The funny name is pure folklore. Photo: Adobe Stock (#208267480), licensed.
